A simple night like any other for a mother and daughter turns into an evening of despair, truths and a moment that no one wants to experience when Minmar Gaslight Productions presents ‘Night Mother: A Stage Reading by Marsha Norman at Glad Day Bookshop on Thursday, September 10th at 8pm.

When Jessie informs her mother that she will end her life one evening, these two women must face inevitable truths and the courage and strength of this unthinkable act.  Riveting from beginning to end, this stage reading of the Pulitzer winning play featuring Judy Gans and Olivia Jon will be presented in a stage reading in honour of World Suicide Prevention Day on September 10th.  All proceeds for the event are going to The Warm Line, a confidential and anonymous peer to peer telephone and computer support line that was started over 20 years ago by Progress Place

Tickets for ‘Night Mother are a suggested donation $12 for adults at the door.
